Interesting for me frame discovery!
« on: 08, January, 2018, 02:19:12 PM »
Hi Guys,

I recently stored my bikes for two months due to lack of use and noticed an interesting to me thing I would like to share. I took off both wheels and the bike fames were placed on a floor in a heated room and stayed like that for 2 month. Recently when putting the rear wheels in I noticed the gap in the frame where you put in the axle widened so much that the wheel went through and there was no support. At first I thought I might be missing a spacer but it's just the frame flexed a little bit. I didn't realise that there is so much flex in this part of the frame and recently I put both bikes together and after riding all is fine. Just wanted to post it in case somebody was in the same situation and is worried something is wrong with their bike which I thought was the case for me. The rear axle once screwed in put it all back together nicely

Pawel
