Gravity Enduro Round 2
Three Rock Mountain, Dublin
17/18 June
Dublin's Three Rock Mountain awaits the you after the May break for the Enduro World Series. Located just minutes from the Capital city, the Gravity Enduro route boasts spectacular views of Dublin Bay and beyond. There are 5 special stages, some wide open and fast, some technical and steep in the woods. The terrain is a mixture of granite rock, silt, soil and roots. Throw the odd short climb into the mix and the Three Rock route is a real test of all round ability.

Just signed up Anyone else doing this
-
Yep - all signed up, Dom.
Can't wait! ;D
-
Yep, hopefully not my first time back on the bike in ages
-
Yeah hoping to do 3 rounds this year, Ticknock, Carrick, Djouce. Haven't raced much the last few years so hoping for some consistency this year.
Undecided about Mt Leinster, always unsure about overnight for races, accommodation and the rest.
-
Yep, I'll be racing this round too
-
Hoping to be there, provided I'm fully recovered then.
-
I'll probably sign up for this
-
Signed up this morning.

Think I'm going to join the bandwagon, although looks like I might be cycling up there from town as currently transportless. Still prob less climbing than the EWS :o

I drove up and down to Mt Leinster each day last year and wasn't too bad - 1.5 hours I think. However, there was torrential rain(what's new) so some trails were unridable. Tough but enjoyable weekend.
-
Yep I'm also planning to do this. Haven't ridden all the stages so practice should be interesting on the Saturday lol
-
When does the practice ban come into effect, this Saturday or Sunday? I'd like to get up there before the official practice day.

I'm doing this and driving from town. Let me know if you want a lift. Can fit my bike in the back and yours on the roof.

One of the good things about racing is that it forces you to push your limits!
Twas a deadly weekend, even with the energy sapping heat. It was great to be out on the hill with so many MADsers, some I'd never met before and some I hadn't seen in ages.
-
Great podiums, Ruth & Leah. Fair dues everyone else, it was pretty tough going at times!
-
Excellent weekend on the bike with a great gang - although a nice cold lake at the bottom of the hill would have been appreciated. Loved every stage.
It was an unusual first getting seeded cos a few of the fast ladies were absent. Myself and Leah managed to maintain our seeding positions, was lovely to share the transitions and the podium with another mad lady ;) Kudos for doing the bombhole, I know how long that took me to overcome!
-
Was a great weekend of biking with a great crew.

Class weekend thanks for the riding buddies, I was hanging by the end. Props as above and to Pete Durbridge winning stage 3 in cat - RAPID! 8)

Well done to all who raced on Sunday, best racing conditions ever!
I've put up a few photos of MAD racers that I managed to see during the day. Would have been easy to miss a lot of you since there were very few club jerseys being worn...
