Title: Coming back from injury
Post by: krezi on 08, January, 2021, 03:52:06 PM
Hey Guys,

I got a hand injury end of november and it means I will be off any type of physical activity for 2 months. I am already dreading the coming back with my fitness gone and any kind of strength.

How do you guys cope with it?

Any thoughts welcome!

Take care
Pawel

General apologies to anyone you going spinning with (but sure that's not happening).

Just try and get out a little more often which helped me.

Sorry to hear about the injury Pawel, that sucks . Hopefully it wonít be that long before your hand is better and that itís not too painful.

Whenever Iíve been injured I found it can be a struggle to stay positive but just know that recovery will be over before you know it. At least youíre not missing the summer months of riding.

As youíre fit it wonít take long to regain your fitness once youíre able to get back on the bike. Just donít push it too hard too soon.

Are you able to use a turbo trainer in the mean time?

I always find that it does not take that long to get back to the level of fitness for spins. I think it has something to with that in your head you know you have done it before.

Sorry to hear about the injury Pawel, I hope is not too serious.
Trying to stay as active as you can definitely helps, legs exercise from the ultimate work out from James Wilson may be also a motivation, long walks, healthy diet, and meditation to stay positive and you will be back before you know it, riding a turbo trainer may be an option too but if itís going to worsen your injury leave it out.

Speedy recovery man
