Beginners Series – Spring 2016

MAD MTB will be running our ever popular beginner series on 16th, 23rd, 30th April 2016. So if you can make all three dates or just one, sign up now and we will send you details of time and location closer to the date.

These spins are suitable for all levels of riders and especially aimed at people new to the sport and have been thinking of giving it a go.

As such, all spins will be at a gentle pace and will avoid the more technically difficult trails while still getting a varied choice of trails to keep it interesting.

All spins are led by experienced MAD members who will do their best to pass on any tips or tricks on improving your riding, or can do what we usually do and spend most of the day chatting about the latest bikes.

The whole series takes place in the Dublin and Wicklow mountains, never really more than an hours drive from anywhere in Dublin. Exact times and location will be emailed to you about a week before the spin.

Please note that our annual beginner spins have been replaced with our monthly Intro spin which you ca read more about here.

I’m looking to get into mountain biking this year! Looking for some info on what type of bike I should be looking for? And does that all depend on budget?

My son is 14 and doing a lot of biking in the Phoenix park, etc. I see you have to be 18 to join – how can he become involved -he is very keen
