Commencal Vs Orbea
« on: 25, May, 2020, 04:49:20 PM »
Hi Guys,

I am looking to buy a Hardtail bike and I have these two bikes on my mind and I am looking to get some recommendations;

META HT AM ESSENTIAL 2020 - 1,499 specs ; https://www.commencal-store.co.uk/meta-ht-am-essential-c2x29150736

ORBEA LAUFEY H 10 2020 - 1,599 specs; https://www.orbea.com/ie-en/bicycles/mountain/laufey/cat/laufey-h10

Which one do you think has better specs, or maybe yous have any other recommendations?

Thanks

The Commencal is 1,799 including VAT.

Irrespective, I'd be tending towards the Orbea. SLX groupset would be higher spec, and it's quality is pretty much XT with a bit of extra weight.
Other than that I'd try to get a demo, if it's in any way possible in the current climate. Bikeology in Naas and Rother in Phibsborough are both Orbea dealers, and if you're lucky they might have a demo bike in stock.

The Orbea is a great bike, the Commencal has tan wall tyres, 'nuff said....
