Pressure Washer Advise
« on: 12, March, 2019, 12:14:04 PM »
I'm looking to buy a pressure washer that will suck water from a rain water tank.

It's not a feature that ever seems to be listed so I'm struggling to know which one to buy.

I'm hoping someone on here can advise me.

Hydroshot is your man. Can even be used with a drinks bottle. Is portable and battery operated so suits a post spin clean down. Pressure is not at the same level of conventional washers

This thing? https://www.halfords.ie/motoring/car-cleaning/pressure-washers-hoses/worx-hydroshot-pressure-washer-car

That looks ideal actually, thanks. Handy not having to plug it in.

Cheers guys.

Thanks Ruth but my thinking was a power washer would be better as it both pumps the water and of course cleans.

Not exactly portable but I have something similar and its very handy for cleaning the bike, car, watering the plants etc.. using rain water..
Sits in your water butt...

They are selling 210L water butts for Ä35 at the moment.. which is enough to wash your car several times over.. and you can buy two and link them together..

Saw those in Aldi and have to go back and get another tank too. Could only fit one in the car.

Think Hydroshot is best bet for cleaning though.

I have one of these, great bit of kit and you can get the extension hose separate as opposed to buying the whole adventure box
