Quiet internal cable routing tips
« on: 01, October, 2018, 10:44:18 AM »
Hey folks, anyone have any tips for preventing internal gear/brake cables rattling inside your downtube? It's the *one* part of my setup I haven't been able to silence, any tips would be great!

I used some foam stick on stuff like below, not the exact one but there is lots around, certainly did the trick.
A company actually makes dedicated stuff for bikes you slide on, Google might find it I think it was at https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/ if I find it again I'll let you know.

Nice find, Pete. Will have to take a look at my frame cable openings, and see if they're large enough to accommodate the foam outer
