Ring of Kerry Cycle
« on: 04, July, 2018, 12:17:08 PM »
So, I've left it a bit late, but I am heading down to Killarney for this Saturday, 7th July. I have my ticket and I'm making my way to Killarney on the bike from today. I'll be taking my time and doing the journey in two and a half days, spending a few days in the area (as well as the Ring of Kerry ;) ) and catching the train home.

I have set up this page for Down Syndrome Kerry who I am fundraising for, who gave me a great welcome last year.
https://ring-of-kerry-charity-cycle-2018.everydayhero.com/ie/ring-of-kerry-cycle-3

Please fell free to share my page with your friends and family and the smallest donation is greatly appreciated!

Anyone else doing the Ring of Kerry Cycle this Saturday?

Thanks,
Frank

Thanks!
Made it to Abbeyleix yesterday and have now finished for today at Kanturk, Cork. 22 degrees here at 5:30 and not a breeze.
Looking to an easy day tomorrow :)

Well, that was something different. A solid 5 days riding, averaging over 100km per day.
Finished the Ring of Kerry on Saturday in 6 hours, nice and cloudy rather than the sunny weather that was forecasted. Followed up the next day with the Gap of Dunloe, Molls Gap and a lap of Killarney National Park which is stunning.
Time for a well earned rest 😀
